Black Brotha
Black man, minds too important to repair . Skinned over wounds of history's displace of you . Black man Suns kisses mark your back like love taps only understood as scars. Society's infatuation with you is your only reality. Only them fearing out of curiosity . Black man, minds lined with slaverys memories and civil rights stomps. Your throne is only a shovel away. Buried deep beneath scars, taunts and tears. Black man you are beautiful . I only wish you could understand the love we have deep in heart for you. My brothers, we stand fighting for the day you can be treated like the men you have been since birth. Black men , we stand behind you since the dawn of time praying yet again that death, and race can never be the bullet. Black men, black women we are of course more than just color so why is that still the only factor they choose to see?

With all of the chaos going on, someone needs to directly tell these young black boys that all of the shootings between cops and blacks, and even black on black violence is not their fate. They come from a long line of royalty, and not all of them know that. They are special, although we stand up for the black man we expect so much of the young ones, and we put them on this pedestal without telling them why they are there. Most black people believe their ancestors were just kicking up dirt, which is not true.
