The beach

Running up the boards too make it to the entrance.
Stepping foot on the beach is what changes it all.
That first step at when I see the ocean is when
I feel the power of the beach.
The blistering hot sand on my feet.
The blazing hot sun on my face.
The cool breeze that calms my body.
The salty air that is pleasure to my nose.
The birds that are music to my ears.
The water that refreshes my soul.
The beach has its way to make everybody feel.
But when I step foot on her rough hot sand
That's when I feel it all.
