Tears
Ninety seven percent of water is our oceans,
Oceans are filled with life,
Oceans are filled with death,
Oceans are filled with love,
Ninety seven percent of tears are water,
Tears are filled with life,
Tears are filled with death,
Tears are filled with love,
How can this be true above?
You live or you die,
You laugh or you cry,
Yet it still brings a tear to your eye,
Are there tears of elation?
Are there tears of emotion?
Are there tears from your ocean?
We are stranded in a boat,
Trying to stay afloat,
We are stranded in an ocean,
Repeating our same motion,
We are stranded within a storm,
But do our actions conform?
For we may look dry,
For we may look empty,
For we may be shy,
But until that one tear drops from our eye,
All that we are,
All that we ever will be,
All that we dream,
Will be concealed from existance,
We must be bold
We must be persistant,
We must be realeased,
Released from being dry,
Released from being empty,
Released from being shy,
God created oceans to be mysterious,
God created humans to be mysterious,
But he didn’t create tears to be mysterious.

This piece of poetry was written merely from a dream I had on a sleepless night.
