More real than solid earth;
And to these death does not mean decay,
But only another birth"

There’s a seed inside of everyone,
sometimes one, or two or more.

Our bodies are the soil-
The words we hear: the sunlight-

The seed is who we are, what we aspire to be.
Who we look up to, those are the fragments of our ideal DNA

Where we come from is our roots.
It’s okay if they’re long and decayed,
frost bitten twigs that barely conduct water

Prune off what you cannot think about without tears,
and thrive with the roots of your choosing,
those little white lines forming each time
you make
a friend.

There’s a seed inside of everyone,
some of them are split into groups, and that’s okay.
Some of them have bad days, and some are plagued with guilt and rejection.

Those are the biggest seeds, the one who have formed more scar tissue than skin-
experienced more than they’ve seen-
lost more than they’ve won.

There are tiny seeds, coddled, spoiled,
but beautiful.
Soke are ignored, others lavished upon,
All of them can make a difference
All of them can speak against what is wrong.

and all of them
are full
of brilliant potential.

Some seeds have deformities or or don’t fit into any category of “seed”
some are flowers,
roses that glow with the morning light,
others are redwoods,
linking hand in hand with their brothers and sisters.

There are beautiful dandelions, blown off as weeds,
when they hold the most magic,
the kind of energy that makes dreams
come
True.

You are a seed, and you can do as you please
Grow to be the best you can be
Rise to the highest mountain, grow wings and fly.
Because you
are a seed
and you can do amazing things.

Inspired by the rose growing on my bush outside despite it being November.
