When hope isn't alive things won't be fine
Every night I kneel before my bed
Take a minute to bow my head,
Speaking to the king above me
Pleading just so he can watch over me

When hope isn't alive things won't be fine
Try to keep your head up in the darkest times, just remember this is all a test just
To prove if your the best, there will be
People who doubt you calling you names,
But just remember where you came.

The sun isn't far from where I am,
Staying optimistic and praying for no more rain, I'm remaining confident in who I am, no one else can take that because I remain true to myself.

Day after day , praying to Jesus hoping that he's listening to me, crying out loud because I need to feel his presence watch over me because I'm tired of the damage

They say fake it till you make it and that's not what I'm about , it got me nowhere so what do I do now , think of a plan from start to finish

I want to be stress free but the environment that I'm living ain't doing no
Justice, where is hope when I counted my blessings .
