i don't want to say goodbye just yet
but i'm growing and soaring like a eagle,
on my own i can learn things i didn't know
being wrapped around your warm and loving heart
i drag not just myself,but you as well,
being under your wings
i learn to depend on you.
now i want you to be the one who will be able to come to me.
you changed my diaper when i was a baby,
you held me on your shoulder when i was a toddler,
you took me camping when i was 8,
you held my hand when i was 14, knowing the feeling
of losing someone dear to you.
Now i'm 18, you raised me and taught be how to be a young lady.
