"Heard a joke once, 'Man goes to the doctor. Says he's depressed. Says life seems harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world where what lies ahead is vague and uncertain. Doctor says "treatment is simple. Great clown Pagliacci is in town tonight. Go and see him. That should pick you up." Man bursts into tears. Says "But doctor... I am Pagliacci.' Great joke. Everybody laughs. Roll on snare drums. Curtains. Fade to black." (Moore)

When the leaves crinkle and crumble,
as we run they crunch under our crushing steps,
the wonderful arranges of browns reds and yellows,
and the bare trees revealing deer and squirrels,
to see a deer between trees as the sun sets,
knowing winter is near and summer is gone,
as we build up the piles and jump in them,
and for a moment no matter our age,
we can all be children for one more day,
fall is the time in which pleases all,
the summer and winter ones,
watching the leaves fall and flutter,
as they float softly to the ground,
sinking slowly with the sight as beautiful as ever,
the wonderful sunrise on the cool morning,
the chill from the frisk cold morning,
leaving you frozen in the the wonderful feeling of the coming cold,
watching the rising and setting sun,
hidden behind the naked trees,
how the light from the sun engulfs the trees,
and making them invisible with the sun being all that is there,
when the animals go into hiding,
and the birds begin disappearing,
winter is upon us,
so let's savor what we can.
