Where To Find A Poem
I am finding a poem,
where most people do.
Pounding in their hearts,
and lurking in their souls.
I take my emotions,
that were bottled up inside
and pour them onto a page,
scattering like spilt milk.
I reach deep down inside,
and find the poem out of my heart.
I take the poem out of my heart,
But my heart does not feel any less empty.
Because I have taken the poem,
from deep down inside me,
and transformed it into words on a page.
Those words on a page became a scream,
a cry,
a call for help.
But it was because
I found a poem where all poems lie.
Deep down,
within us all.
Fish deep into your heart,
to retrieve it.
Rip the poem out of your soul
and bring it to life.
Let it experience the world first hand,
as things twist and spiral around him.
Care for it,
like a newborn child.
Watch it grow
into something greater.

I created this poem when I couldn't find a topic to write about. I didn't know how to get the poem from my brain to the page. I encourage everyone to find the poem inside of them!
