What I've Learned
I’ve learned that sometimes
a lie is okay,
Just don’t make a habit
of it.
I’ve learned that you can’t please everyone
and that it’s okay to fail.
I’ve learned that I’ll never be perfect at everything
and to focus on what I love.
I’ve learned it’s okay to be wrong,
but to stand my ground when I’m right.
I’ve learned that I deserve respect
and to never accept less than that.
I’ve learned that you can’t trust everyone
but some people are worth trusting.
I’ve learned that a rumor is only a rumor,
and does not change who I am.
I’ve learned that life is unpredictable,
and it’s best to just go with it.
