Autumn
Cold air fills my lungs as I take a deep breath in.
I see my reflection in the window staring back at me.
The sun is blinding as it rises.
The only clouds in the sky touch the horizon line.
The trees sway in the cold wind.
My shadow is stretched out tall
across the half full parking lot.
My hands are becoming numb as I write.
The moon is still visible,
slowly sinking down,
just to come back again.
