We Stand
I stand, I have to say something.
I can’t hold back, the world is messed up and
All is far in love and war
It makes you ask what we are fighting for.
We believe in the people who we think are good.
Politicians and reporters; reverse Robin Hood.
They steal from the poor and give to the rich.
Then giving us the excuse that, “life’s a B***h.”
They are war mongers, they want to shed blood,
All they want to do is kill in cold blood.
Where they hold their Bibles in the palm of their hands,
They wage war on the people holding Qurans.
Then they have the nerve to ask you to fight for them,
Promising prosperity, we must condemn.
It’s time we fight back, and take back what’s ours
This time we no longer fight with flowers.
Stand up, don’t be a follower
We can no longer fight for the comfort of others.
We can’t campaign against health care
But complain about the billionaire
Power is greed, but the greed is green
It’s a part of our, Richard Dawkins, “selfish gene”
Meanwhile, they attack us just to strike fear.
Two towers collapse, and soldiers grab their gear.
While the leader gives speeches just to fan the war.
They’ve had enough but they still want more.
The poor are poorer and the rich richer.
You turn the other cheek only when you don’t have a trigger.
Politicians are a joke, but we are not laughing,
Because when it comes to them, it’s us that they are stabbing.
We linger in the evil and can’t get out.
Like the climate change, we do nothing about.
It’s like manifest destiny…
But moving towards the east with weaponry.
Stop saying amen for being so stable,
When 30 million don’t have a dinner table.
It’s time, we need a political revolution.
It’s time we go back to zero pollution.
It’s time we fight against our greatest delusion.
It’s time we fight against prosecution…
It’s time we stand up.
We stand for a solution.

I began looking at the politics of the world and of this nation... I found my inspiration on something that Albert Einstein touched on... and that is the that stupidity, much like the universe, is infinite, and the greed of those in power and influence will be the cause of our metaphorical, or quite litteraly, Armageddon... If that means I stand alone to help the little guy,so be it, but I alone cannot bring upon change without the influence of the masses...
