It opens, closes, resonates with words
passionate, painful, purposeful
sometimes enraged,
emotional, endearing, elaborate, even erratic
It’s my mouth
It expresses my thoughts, and feelings
rational, ridiculous
sometimes strange,
strong, significant, even simple
It’s my mouth
I can say what I want to

I was listening to a song regarding someone being free to express themselves when I realized that I personally have problems with not being able to express myself as much as I would like to. So, I wrote this poem.
