As you look around the room,
Searching for your breath,
Hoping to see someone,
Just something,
Out there, in nothingness,
Not knowing what this place is,
Your chest is getting heavier,
It feels as if a 200lb demon is standing upon your torso,
Arms getting weaker,
They grow limp, like an over cooked noodle,
You’re trying to scream but,
Only silence fills the thin air,
You open your eyes and look around you,
Seeing nothing but these blinding white walls,
You tightly close your eyes,
Hoping it’s just a dream,
A dream that you soon wake from,
As you open your eyes,
You grow puzzled,
You spot something in the distance,
It looks like a person lying down,
With joy that you might’ve found help,
You scramble to your feet to get a closer look,
It is a body,
You run fast thinking, “I’ve found help”,
As you get closer to it,
You stop dead in your tracks,
The sudden realization smacks you in the face,
It’s yours,
You’re dead,
You’re trapped, boxed in these walls of white,
All alone,
The empty feeling grows inside your brain,
Like moss on a rock in the creek,
The scary thing is,
There’s no way out.

My inspiration for this piece ismy brain. My braing gets to me sometimes so I'll have to write down my thoughts in order to keep myself balanced.
