Sorry

There is certain kind of sorry that comes in an empty box
different from the one that comes in a box of chocolates.
There is a silent sorry after "I love you",
Cold like winter air.
There is a sorry after a bruised  heart,
Which people insist is broken.
There is a sorry like flowers,
You give to yourself to brighten up your day.
There are sorry's that are given,
And treated like a penny when really it's worth a billion.
There is a sorry with an ant hill,
Where it should be with a mountain.
There are sorry's that are demanded,
Like when your mom forces you to give your favorite shirt away.
There are sorry's that are like presents on Christmas Day,
Receiving it and being happy that you got your way.
There is a sorry to show I love you,
Even when you don't know what you did.
And there is a sorry that is like the weather,
There are a reason but only for a season.
So be sorry for being sorry.
Put the sorry away,
And think to yourself, do I really mean what I say?
