Baseball is Spring.
Smelling the fresh cut green grass.
Tasting hot dogs, peanuts, and crackerjacks.
Seeing the players run intently to catch fly balls.
Hearing the balls whistling as they launch off the wooden bats at high speeds.
Feeling the pride to be watching the greatest game ever created.
Baseball is Spring.

Baseball is America’s Pastime.
Memories of playing catch in the street with your father, even though you broke your neighbor’s window.
Collection of baseballs caught at the ballpark, when you didn’t really catch them on your own.
Warm summer nights at the ballpark with your friends watching the game.
Cracking peanuts and tossing them onto the stadium floor, while accidently hitting the person in front of you.
Squirting ketchup and mustard onto the ballpark hotdogs.
Baseball is America’s Pastime.

Baseball is Dreaming.
Dreams of walking out of the dugout on Opening Day.
Dreams of being a starting major league shortstop.
Dreams of hitting cleanup in the batting order.
Dreams of hitting a walkoff home run in the bottom of the ninth inning.
Dreams of signing little boys and girls Topps baseball cards.
Baseball is Dreaming.

Baseball is Challenging.
Hitting a 2 ?/? inch ball going over 90 MPH with a 2 ?/? inch bat.
Reading the pitcher to know what type of pitch will be thrown.
Knowing what to do in every situation, both offensively and defensively.
Having the ability to field a ground ball, line drive, and pop fly.
Learning all the signs given by the coach.
Baseball is Challenging.

Baseball is Dedication.
Dedication to excel at the game like an A+ student in the classroom.
Dedication to continue to improve like a fine wine as it ages.
Dedication to use all of one’s ability like God’s commitment to each of us.
Dedication to always be thinking on the field like an inventor with his next creation.
Dedication to do whatever helps the team like a soldier risking his life for his country.
Baseball is Dedication.

Baseball is Five Characteristics.
Baseball is timeless like a diamond solitaire.
Baseball is constant strategy like a chess match.
Baseball is statistically driven like China’s stock market.

Baseball is Five Characteristics.

Baseball is Family.
Teammates are family, working together towards a common goal, while having each other’s back.
Fans are family, forming one large community cheering from the stands.
Coaches are family, serving as our baseball parents teaching us the fundamentals.
Relatives are family, providing love and support in endless ways.
God is family, giving us the gift of talent and spiritual nourishment.
