Two fighter jets sit in the yard                                                                                                          Four buses wave hello                                                                                                                         An awning on the building screams “come on in”

Planes rumble and shake the ground as if an earthquake has struck                                  Bullets smashing the B-17                                                                                                              Men scream as they are shot out of the sky
What would happen if these men had not been brave enough to fly 30,000 feet in 40 below temperatures for 16 hours round trip                                                                                                                              What would it be like if men like Albert Peela Sr. hadn’t lived through POW camps to tell these heroic stories
The pain these men went through horrifies me                        I am very thankful for what they have sacrificed not us as people, but also as a whole country                                                                                                                                                            I am saddened that all of these men have died
Mighty 8th is a special place for a special group of young men                                                                                    Mighty 8th is a special place for an incredibly special World War 2 memorabilia                                                  Mighty 8th Air Force squadron will always be flying over the European battle ground
