Dad

Bald funny
they call him downtown charlie brown,
NBN (Nothing but net)
But I call him NBA (Nothing but air)
During baseball he is the first base coach
and stands there talking to the parents
or on his phone
he doesn’t pay attention while he's coaching
Ford Stevens calls him the Mayor.
Everytime we get in the car with my friends he says “Bobby hows your girl” or “Mikey how's your girl.”
A lot of friends don't like coming in the car
with us because he always asks
it makes other people uncomfortable but I think its funny
but he's my dad and I will always love him.

Soccer

You smell the green grass on the field
you have butterflies in your stomach while you're warming up
your thinking is it going to be a good game or a bad game or did we come here for nothing.
I get on the field all pumped up
“lets go boys”
me and Rockhouse to our hand shake
we all say as we get on the field
the whistle blows
and were off like it is the run for the roses,
I get the ball you get the ball
we all get the ball until someone SCORES.
Either one team is happy and the parents are cheering while the others have their head down and the parents are trying to support their players.

Spring

Spring Its almost the end of the school year
Spring The leaves start to come out on the trees and bushes and flowers bloom
Spring Summer is right around the corner
Spring The birds chirp and the bees buzz
Spring The warm air comes out after a long cold winter
Spring Lacrosse Baseball and Travel Soccer starts again
You start to bring the furniture out
Then summer is here and Spring is gone

Bees
Their black and yellow
they help save humanity
by pollinating flowers
thats what makes our planet
look cool (sometimes)
they are bees and even
though you might have gotten stung
its protection and they thought you were going
to kill them.
