Sprint, Catch, Repeat
I sprint hard,
hands swaying.
My feet chop
into the, soft, green turf.
James lofts the ball,
as I cut hard to the left.
Now forty yards out,
I look back
to find the ball.
My gloved hands reach,
far into the air as the ball drops.
I sprint ready to secure the catch.
The light
from the roof
reflects off of my eye shield.
Temporary blinded
The pigskin lands
in my waxy, gloved hands.
I secure the ball
And break for the end zone.
Happily, I jog back,
and reset
ready for another roun
