Perceiving
I don’t know how I’m perceived
It’s a questionable thing
Because your looks they deceive;
That’s how you’re perceived
Your shoes, your shirt, your pants
You’ll hear their whispers of gossip
They see it all with just one glance
The words they speak seem to move through the halls; as if they danced
Your looks those are what they find appealing
That’s what they see
You but not the real you,they see the you that’s intriguing
So what are people actually seeing?
They see what they want to see
Nothing more and nothing less
Your overseen
