Soda Addicition
Yes, the caffeinated sweet sugary poison.
Not much to know, but that is my addiction.
Now before you tell me, "No, I'm addicted to the caffeine not the soda."
Let me tell you.
Soda is my addicition.
Soda is my life.
It's the only thing that I can truly depend on.
Yes, Silly as it sounds, It's the truth.
The bubbly taste of the first sip, energizes me more than fruit can.
The Sizzle you hear once you first open it,
is like a symphony to my ears.
Also each and every soda is different, That's what I love.
A sprite to settle my upset tummy,
or a Diet Pepsi to make me relax.
Root beer to get my party going, and
Coca-Cola to help me sleep.
Mellow Yellow helps me dance, and
Mountain Dew helps me dream.
I get a Dr. Pepper to help me study, and
as I get a get these, you see.
I'm a happier me.
They are the love of my lives, the only ones that I need.
The feed my thirst and make me believe.
My love for soda may sound oddly weird and strange,
But at least I'm not smoking or taking a sip of alcohol like other teenagers these days.
I would say I'm lucky,
only because,
My addiction isn't quite healthy,
but I'm still a teenager.
Living a teenager life.
