Mask.
The pain is unbearable.
Not even your closest friends can notice,
that you are hurting.
Every night your mascara runs down your face
on the same pillow you lay your head on at night.
You're begging for help.
But you can't scream loud enough.
You're being pulled under more and more by the hurt every night.
That you're close to drowning in your own thoughts.
But every day you have to wake up.
Redo your ruined make up.
Fake a smile.
and put all the hurt,
behind a mask.
