Bittersweet Insanity
Voices in your head, in your mind, they’re screaming all the time.
Put your heart in my hands in the middle of the night.
Take you out and make you hide always in the dark away from the sky.
Mixing all the memories leaves the revolting aftertaste of this perfect crime.
Time doesn’t care about you so make it suffer for its desperate fight.
Right now you can crash and burn, you can start over.
The dead are staring at you from their graves, watching the invention you create.
Countless thoughts push you down until you break.
Look at me, stare into my eyes, then tell me I’m wrong.
It won’t matter because soon I’ll be gone.
Look away from the signs, look away from the sun.
Turn your back on everyone. Everyone leaves until you force them to stay.
In the end they will always make you pay.
Look away from the sun, turn your back and drown everyone.
The fear haunts you day and night, no one will ever see.
There is a dream that will become your only perception to find reality.
But the more you sleep, the more you turn. You’ll never see reality.
The ghastly deity calls for the blood, speaking in silence so no one will hear.
Crave the vengeance, the only thing you can’t control.
Pray for revenge and end your hopeless resent.
I’m sick of the silence and the calm watching this world start to rot.
You can’t get around without “immaculate” judgement, but they’ll never see their own filth.
Censuring what they will never understand.
This bittersweet insanity will keep me safe from corruption and the deceased.
The untruthful god will never set me free.
Looking at the sun, drowning everyone from the poisoned past.
This bittersweet insanity lets me see reality.
