Honoring Nature
The forest gives us things.
Birds fly through with their wings
We take, take, take
And make, make, make
We can never repay nature.
If we use it all, it will be gone,
Before the dawn of the next day.
Without trees, skies will be grey,
Everyone cries “Save, save, save.”
Rivers are water, water is life.
Hunter’s knife, used to skin the fish.
The water is the animals’ joining place
We have to face it, it will be gone if we don’t act with haste!
Rivers are what every living thing needs,
No more littering not even seeds.
The rivers are full of wildlife. What will we do to protect it all ?
Water should be blue, not black!
Animals need water and the forest to survive,
It goes a long way if only we try.
We can't say goodbye,
We are the only ones that can help or make it worse.
Is it a blessing or a curse?
All of these things go hand in hand,
Like human and nature.
To respect all life, and honor its contribution,
This is education for this and the next generation.

With all the different conflicts in the world, I think we are losing sight of our impact on the environment. I also think that the responsibility for taking care of nature belongs to each of us, not just the next generation. It is our responsibility to cherish and safeguard what we have been given.
