Nothing Will Come
  Nothing will come
  From
  Us
  We will not
  Be
  Remembered
  One hundred or
  Two
  Years
  From now nobody
  Will speak
  Our names
  Nothing will come
  From
  Us
  If we believe
  That
  Saying
  So step away from
  That
  Wall
  Get into the
  Open fields
  Of possibility
  Because nothing will come
  From
  Us
  If we don’t even
  Try
  And Nothing will come
  From
  Us
  We’re nothing but
  Simple
  Kids
  One hundred or
  Two
  Years
  From now nobody
  Will speak
  Our names
  But nothing will come
  From
  Us
  If we’re too
  Scared
  To try
  So let nothing come
  From
  Us
  Be too afraid
  To
  Try
  Keep your hand on
  That
  Wall
  But don’t start to
  Cry

My friend said to me once, "Nothing will ever happen because of us. We'll never impact the world or do anything significant. We don't matter. Nobody matters and nothing matters at all." Thus, this poem.
