Being with you is like
Driving down an open highway
While the sun sinks below the horizon.
Top down,
Feet on the dashboard,
The air still warm from the hot summer day.
Radio turned loud as we sing along-
Even if we don't know all the words.
The whole world stretched out in front of us
With the ocean on one side
And mountains on the other.
And we're talking-
About everything and nothing.
And we're laughing-
Like there's not a care in the world.
We are young, free, and in love.
And, well, I guess that's what
Being with you is like.
