What's out there.
April, 5, 2015
What's out there?
The edge is an icy sheet of liquid that formed into rock long ago.
And just ahead I see it as I make my way into the whiteness of the snow.
Across the skyline I see it's soft oddly yellow glow.
And as I watch I wonder if they even know.
What's out there, what's in the snow?
Now just across the land I hear the whisper of the trees.
And the hum of buzzing black and yellow bees.
In my golden treasure chest I find a pretty jewl key.
My aunt is sitting cross the counter busy sipping tea.
What's out there, what's in the trees?
Into the ocean I swim gazing out at sea.
Oh how i wish a mermaid I could be.
But as the waters darken and the waters are provoked.
I see out there in the darkened water a figure lightly cloaked.
What's out there, what's in the sea?
