Where’s Waldo?
Where has he gone?
In red and white and surrounded by blue-
Where is he hiding?
Where did he go?
Waldo’s defunct.
Behind leather bound books
And dust covered covers
Forgotten and disposed of
In a face among others,
Waldo retired as soon as you grew old
And with him it disappeared
The passion for more,
The tumbling and rumbling of a mind looking on
Exploring and tickling the untapped resources
Of an untapped brain-
And now it just waits and stagnates
And occasionally frustrates
Thinks still worries lot
Pains and abstains
From any engagement
But still sometimes I wonder,
Where is Waldo?
Where did we go?
