Hope.
You lead on and I follow for no other reason now besides the gimmer of hope in my heart, and the need for the closure that is that ever resounding and inevitable "No". And yet I cannot give up and cannot stop caring for you until you give me that bittersweet pain of knowing. I know now more than ever, the fate that we've built. My pain has subsided and now there only remains the anger and frustration that is this want, this need not for you but for myself, for I cannot move on until I know that I cannot move on with you, so please. Please! Give me the serenity of my melancholy so that I may move forward without you, knowing that we could never have moved forward together.
