The day he left me

This all seemed so sudden.
I find it hard to remember--
what he looks like.
A stranger
I was an alien in my own body--
I think harder
He wasn’t a bad guy,
just wasn’t for me
I look at the pictures of him,
and remember what we used to be
I went under the knife and he left me.
