Trapped By Your Mind
Sometimes you just want to escape
But you have nowhere to go
So you are pulled in to the deep dark abyss
That is your mind
You stop paying attention to the things around you
No one could possibly understand
So you are dragged deeper and deeper down
By the burdens of your past
Sometimes all you can do is cry
Your life is a help
But you can’t grasp the reasons why
There is no way for you to get out besides to drown
You want out of this cruel and suffering world
Because here you do not belong
Those around you have pushed you aside
They no longer seem to care
And the truth is they wouldn’t truly miss you
Until you aren’t there
You fight this every day battle
But no one notices the scars
You almost seem to be a lost cause
You are full of nothing but emptiness
Your dying and eternal wish
Was nothing but to be set free.
What kind of life is this?
What kind of person can you be?
You have been pushed around
Beaten down
Your last resort solution you have found
