The Monster
Blank stares//
That’s what I exchange
This person in front of Me//
I don’t recognize
Her eyes are glassy//
Face pale white, stuck in a trance
I feel it coming//
my stomach in Knots, the rapid knocking of my heart on my bodys doors, the warmth is spreading--Insanity.
Silence//
I look down, all i see//
loose clothes
Skin and bones
This person surrounded//
by empty handles
messy hair
fading makeup from the night before
Its Sunday//
So God if you’re reading
I’ve seen her before
she’s no stranger
She is me and i am a monster.
