Courage
Bravery
Or at least
that's what they tell me
with Rosa on the bus
and Jackie the field
With Marin and his dream
and Michael his moonwalk
with Stevie and Ray on piano
and Aretha on vocals
all working towards a new beat
new rhythm for the world to
run from
All working towards
a Place
To which the world did not
tell you to live
by the color of your skin
but by the talent
by the strength of your mind
by the way you want
They stood
without fear of
death
but fear of failure
They looked
into the danger
of the world and
fought it
