Their leaves scattered all over the yard.

They are in fact the best kind of trees,
yes indeed.
With the green of summer,
flourishing and full of life.
And the red of Fall,
almost, but not quite
dead.
The tall giants,
with red and green highlights.
They are eye candy,
one of the perks of Fall
