Fairies
Have you ever wondered how the green grass grows?
Or how the strong cold wind blows?
Well if we may travel beyond the forest
You may find that there are fairies before us.
Now don't you go roll your eyes
Just because you believed in those lies.
You may not believe in fairies now
But when you see them you will want to know how.
Let's start our journey deep in the trees
That's where you can find them dressed in little leaves.
But you must look really hard
Because they are smaller than ants in your back yard.
They help all nature big and small
Short and tall.
The white snow and the cold rain
That's because of the powers the fairies contain.
Wait. Speak quietly.
You don't want to give them anxiety.
Down there, sitting under a tall mushroom
Using a tiny flower as her broom
Is a fairy
So now that you know how the green grass grows
And how the strong cold wind blows.
You can travel beyond the forest
And know that there are fairies before us
