Life is like a newborn baby
needing more attention than a lady
Life has to get dressed and go to school every morning
But can be taken away without warning
You wash it and clothe it and get it  ready for school
And gawk at girl like a damn fool
And as the sun sets and the world is dark
Life will always know it’s made its mark
But there is always a time where life is careless
Even when it thinks it’s oh so fearless
The angel thats walks around called death
Puts its finger on life to see it  fall
And watches life take its last breath
As you are whisked away by death waiting to be judged
he see’s that your soul is a little smudged
You talk to God and he brings up your past
and this bad stuff life did and it went so fast
It all looked bad until the thing you did last
Life made a decision to go to church and confess his sins
And by doing so God forgives
And opens his eternal kingdom so you can live
