Poison
The foods on the table
She waits for him to come home
She lays on her bed
Is he really the one?
Asking herself questions like
"Do I love him?"
"Why am I lying to myself"
Her love for him is lost
The warmth she had for him has been out the door
There is pain and shame
After that there is tears
Tears that fell for her broken heart
Its like poison
She isn't happy anymore
She thought it was fate meeting him
"Why is it that we hang onto
The one who doesn't care?"
She LOVED him
He loves her
"Wake up my love, I'm home"
Underneath her breath she said
"It was all a dream"
