You clouded my judgment
You took control
I see the anger and sadness within me
The emotional scars you left upon me
My body aches as if it were lightning hitting sand
That turned quickly to glass
My body screams with arms wide open
With hope in my eyes that someone will come save it
I see my heart aching and slowly breaking
But with every step I take
It’s as if you’re there behind me
Tripping up my next step
I wish upon you what you have wished on me
To feel the pain I’ve felt
To be as lost as a stray dog
My heart fell to pieces
And you didn’t even care
I sat there crying and you were there criticizing
You think you know someone
And I really thought I did
But you just turned out to be
Someone not meant for me
