my night on the beach

My night on the beach,
Starts with fun,
Playing and splashing in the hot summer sun.
The waves are crashing,
Surrounded by laughing,
When the sun starts to go down.
The sky turns pink,
So we lay down and think,
About the memories just created.
We soon start to frown,
As the sun has gone down,
And we have been swallowed by darkness.
We know not to fright,
As we look up into the night,
And the stars shine from above.
And that’s my night on the beach.
