Everyone's wings;

Majestic and white.

While mine are still small and fight for a flight

     they cannot attain.

Everyone else has lifted off of their tree branch.

And as I stare with a hint of a glare,

I attempt to lift off as well, but tend to crash.

Silly me, focusing on what others can do,

Shoo away from my nest!

Yet, I'm so infatuated and intrigued by the rest.

Silly me, comparing my wings to others,

Not knowing that focusing on my own,

Can grown my feathers.
