My Favorite Mistake
You're the number one
in my exclamation point rampage
You're the chocolate
stuck on the Reese's wrapper
You're the Sharpie mark
left on the board after erasing it.
You're this small minuscule mistake
that happens every now and again.
But I'll never stop typing
or eating peanut butter cups
or writing on dry erase boards.
Because it's those small mess ups
that make me feel alive,
you make me feel alive.
