I am from the giant Northside Hospital, my red cast, and our silver Toyota Sienna.
I am from a toothbrush stuck in my mouth, tripping over a game board and slamming into a wall.
I am from Six Flags, waiting in line for Goliath with my parents waiting right by my side.

I am from Diwali, lighting up candles and lights and hanging them around the house.
From the beautiful lights to the excited family that awaited at my house.
Grandpa hands out money to my elated cousins.

I am from savoring AVR, trading Pokémon cards, and caring for my pet turtle-Squirt.
I am from playing intense Nerf Wars, shooting foam bullets back and forth, and gathering them up again and again.
I am from “Ducky” Park, tossing bread to the geese, and hollering at my mom to give me more.

I am from speedy toy cars, scary Harry Potter movies, and the action-packed Codename Kids Next Door.
I am from my Gameboy, quickly pressing A and B, and bouncing Mario to gather coins.
I am from snapping turtles, splashing around the neighborhood lake and slowly crawling over to my driveway.

I am from breathtaking episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender, watching it on my mom’s slow laptop.
From awaiting Ang’s next move, to watching Zuko fail to capture him.
Avatar Roku always offers advice to Ang, but he always seems to fail at succeeding.

I am from sticking bubblegum in my eyebrows, the thrilling game of RCT, and an exciting Canadian Safari.
I am from dinosaur toys, fighting each other and making dino habitats on the floor in the living room.
I am from my yellow baby chair, tumbling off and climbing back on.

I am from juicy Jolly Rangers, round shaped, plastic toy Bakugan, and an encyclopedia that contained all the mysteries of
the world.
I am from playing on our while Wii, and finally getting an awesome black Ps3.
I am from Uttrayan, the beautiful Indian Kite Festival, from watching my dad fly kites, to spending time with my family on the
Front yard at the temple.

I am from a home where I feel safe.
Where I come home everyday from school, welcomed by my mom.
Home is where I grew up and became the person that I am today.
Home is where I made my best memories.
