Tropical Hurricane
Driving down the street
music playing in a beat
sun shining in the sky
acting like a spy.
Hopping out of the car
all excited we are
walking into seaworld
acting like a fool.
We walk and walk
legs are in pain.
We head to the Dolphin Exhibit
as fast as a deer in a thicket.
Waiting in a long line
as patiently as we can
until the sky starts to darken
and I hear a loud crack of thunder.
Drops start to fall
one by one
wind starts to blow
harder and harder.
An hour has passed
people start to leave.
“I want a refund”!
They start to shout.
As we head out of line
the rain got harder and harder
walking through a 3 inch puddle
was not fun at all.
Jumping in puddles
was actually quite fun.
Playing in the rain
like a crazy person.
People stare and laugh
I think I am entertaining them.
We head to the car
with smiles on our faces.
And that was the day
I went to Seaworld
and got stuck in
a Tropical Hurricane.
