I Asked the Stars
I asked the stars to end the pain. To show me what feeling unempty was like. To stop the portruding pain of everything I wanted to avoid. I wanted peace and happiness unlike the chaos in my head.
I asked the stars to let me love you. To let me fall willingy into your outstretched arms. I wanted the guidance into the expanse of the unknown into my heart. I asked for strength, so I could smile just as brightly as they shone. I asked for the warmth I lacked to melt the ice that blocked me from you.
