Sail On
An overreaction to a blip on my radar
Rhythm and lyric helping me forget her
Melodic perspective granted. I am not alone
Accompanies the feeling, ‘I don’t need my phone’
Down by the lake, whether live or dead
You’re bound to find me at odds with my head
Each moment could write it’s own novel
And I’ve nearly hit the bottom of this bottle
Waiting for the day I can rewrite this song
A chain of hope strings me along
I’ll assure myself, I’m not too far-gone
The little things remind me, Sail on.
