When You Were Gone

When you were gone, I was lost.
You left behind, the ghost of your past.
You walked away like I was nothing.
I sat back and watched you leave.
I began to believe I was nothing.
Nothing without you.
You moved on, no pain remained beside you.
Sad thoughts wandered through my mind.
My chest was hollow, you took my heart along with you.
