Why don’t they get it?
Why don’t they understand?
My life, my way, just why.

Mom tries and tries but,
It’s all because of him,
The step dad
The person who hates
The person who doesn’t understand.

They try to create a different person of me
They try and try
But I don’t let them
I feel like I’m in a conservation camp

Everyone else does understand,
But them
The ones who I live with,
The ones who say they understand,
But they don’t,
They try and try
But they just don’t.
