that isn't afraid of what people think of them

and has seen me grow up from my childhood

That has seen better years

I come from a sport, hockey,
where you will be knocked down but will have to get back up

I come from a school,
filled with both wonderful and unliked teachers

I come from the woods,
in which hunting and fishing are my best friends
