My First Steps
One little step at a time, if not made it will be a scar.
Soon I will be there, not to far.
Take another step but bigger, not much further.
I hear a cheer, look over at my smiling mother.
I am almost there, I am about to make history.
What will happen when I reach the end?  It is a big mystery.
Almost there, just a couple more inches,
My aunt will give me good job pinches.
I made it to my father,
I walk back to my mother.
I am one and walked from my mother to my father.
