Feeling of Fall
Fall
The sun’s rays beating down
They are warm but the fall breeze is cold
When I sit on the bench it looks nice,
No clouds in the sky
Sun’s out
At the same time I can tell it’s not summer
Maybe it’s the way the sky looks pale,
The thin layer of frost over the car’s windshields.
The leaves on the trees are green,
But you can tell it’s not summer
I wonder how we can tell it’s not summer
The trees are green
Sun’s out
There isn’t snow on the ground
It looks exactly like summer but feels different.
