I come from the flag of red
white
and blue
I come from the state of Michigan
I come from the city of Detroit
I come from my mother,
a Very annoying mother
I come from a big family but
I come from a house of 3
I come from my father,
who thinks he knows everything
I come from a working family
I come from two ford workers
I come from working grandparents
I come from middle class
I come from the youngest child on my mothers side
I come from being the only child on my fathers side
I come from getting a lot of gifts
I come from getting whatever I want

The poetic device I used is repetition. Repetition is when you use the same word or phrase in your poem. The phrase I kept repeating is I Come From.
The poetic strategy I used is litany. Litany is the repetition of a phrase. I used litany in almost every line. The phrase I kept repeating is I Come From.
